Having familiarity with an animal’s health allows for subtle variations to be noted and addressed. A good veterinarian will always consider the owner’s perspective on their pet’s physical health. They are, after all, the person who sees that animal day-in, day-out. In turn, the more familiar your veterinarian is with your pet, the more likely we can pick up on trends in their health and wellness.

We at FVMC, encourage and support routine wellness exams, in addition to maintaining up-to-date vaccination or vaccine titers. Other areas that we like to evaluate to ensure your pet’s wellness include examinations for fecal parasites, annual heartworm testing, and monitoring of body condition scores.
